Kevin
is a graduate of
Humber
College with a diploma as an Architectural Technician.
He has had a wide range
of design experience that have given him the opportunity to become
proficient with cad software - initially AutoCAD, and more recently Revit
Architecture, Structure & MEP. Early in his career he was introduced to 3D design doing fabrication drawings for custom auto body modifications. In AutoCAD he has a varied range of experience; designing fabrication & construction drawings for commercial, educational & retail green houses; civic addressing & other mapping applications; architectural, structural & mechanical design. Utilizing an array of 3d modeling & 2d graphic enhancement software packages he produces still & animated visualizations during all stages of project development, from design development through to promotional and even during construction when needed for collaboration meetings. When he is not training others to be able to take advantage of BIM technology, he is working to make our BIM capabilities available to our clients & contractors. Kevin joined Gerrits Engineering in it's inception in the fall of 2006. |
