Situated at the southern end of Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands, Midland is the economic centre of the region. It’s the main town of the southern Georgian Bay area with the area’s population growing to over 100,000 in the summer months. Located just off Hwy 12 on your way into Midland, Bourgeois Midland Nissan is waiting to greet customers with its bright show room and spacious service garage.
Working side-by-side with the Owner and the Contractor, we were the engineers of record for this 16,000-sq.ft. dealership and service garage. Challenges ensuring the interior design met the Nissan branding standards as well as the functional requirements for the Owner were met head on by the design team, especially for a project with a tight timeline. We were able to get the service garage occupancy within 1-year of the building permit issuance with the dealership portion following 1-month after.
