Project Overview

Situated just 23km west of Barrie, Ontario, CFB Borden holds a significant place in history as the birthplace of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Today, it proudly serves as the largest training wing in the Canadian Armed Forces. In collaboration with the esteemed team at LGA Architectural Partners, we had the privilege of serving as the Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers of Record for a remarkable project at CFB Borden. Our expertise was showcased in the design and construction of 12 apartment units spread across two buildings, with each building housing six units.

With a keen focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, the final design achieved an impressive "3 Green Globes" rating, as determined by Green Globes. This recognition reflects our commitment to creating environmentally conscious spaces that promote sustainable living. Each apartment unit is thoughtfully designed to offer residents comfort and unctionality. Featuring two bedrooms and a well-appointed bathroom, these units range in size from 75m2 to 93m2, providing ample space for individuals and families to thrive.
