There are five district garages that comprise the road maintenance program of the County of Simcoe, including one in Minesing, Ontario. The goals of the road maintenance program include reducing the negative environmental impacts during the winter and to reduce/control expenditures through innovative and proactive management practices. One of those proactive management practices involves having the snow plows, salters, and emergency vehicles maintained and inspected on a regular basis.
Working alongside the County, we are the Engineers of Record for a 1,600-sq.ft.ambulance bay addition at the main County of Simcoe garage. The addition sits onpoured concrete foundations and the super structure is a pre-engineered building.The exterior walls were constructed using pre-engineered building girts and verticalmetal siding. The addition is a drive-thru with a vehicle hoist for maintenance.
